This is an elegant piece using mostly cottons and natural fibre mix fabric pieces and patches, the statement red circle is a velvet appliqué piece giving a more organic feel with the raw edge finish.
The wandering yarn drawing embellishment uses a found yarn of unknown composition, but feels like a short velvet pile. There is a layer of wadding sandwiched between the outer layers, made from 70% recycled cotton & 30% polyester. The sashiko running stitch used throughout illustrates the shapes on the reverse side leaving the red circle in relief.

Care
All fabrics have been washed out before use, so the colours should not bleed. I would recommend spot cleaning and carefully hand washing when necessary, then hang to dry.
