Royal Battenburg
This fun piece uses just a few large scraps on both sides; one side is a giant Battenburg style check in contrasting cottons, the other side is a patchwork of found & donated silks. There is a layer of wadding sandwiched between the outer layers, made from 70% recycled cotton & 30% polyester. With the quilting knots on the cotton side & only the sashiko running stitches on the silky side, this one has it all!

Care
All fabrics have been washed out before use, so the colours should not bleed. I would recommend spot cleaning and carefully hand washing when necessary, then hang to dry.
